To allow Vaginal Bleeding and facilitate major Obstetric hemorrhage scenarios.

1. Take the female genitalia supplied with your Laerdal SimMan, 1 i.v giving set , 1ltr saline and ,1 Pressure Bag.

2.Taking a pair of Scissors make a 1cm incision into the end of the vaginal rubber section at the rear of the female genitalia.

3. Take an ordinary I.V giving set.

4. Insert the tip of the giving set into the slit made previously and continue to feed the tubing until it is visable at the front vaginal opening.

5. Note tip of giving set barely visable at vaginal opening.

6. Take 1ltr of saline and color with a synthetic blood product (Dilution as appropriate).

7. Place fluid bag in pressure bag and secure, insert giving set and prime. When inflated to around 350mmhg the pressure bag will facilitate vaginal bleeding for up to 20 mins using a moderate flow rate.
